This month, we are holding our womens wellness check again, every lady who has a womens wellness check will receive a goodie bag!!.
We are also fundraising for Pink Ribbon, selling Seville Drive Medical Centre, Breast Cancer Awareness Pens for $3 (all profits go to Pink Ribbon) and also we have ribbons for a gold coin donation which get popped up on our wall.

The third week in April will be Heart Health Awareness week. This coincides with the new Heart Health Check that Medicare have rolled out. This will be a 20 minute appointment with our wonderful nurses followed by a 10 minute appointment with your regular doctor. Topics raised will be preventative health, discussing risk factors, cholesterol check, diabetes risk assessment etc.

The second week of April we will be doing a display for Fruit & Veggies Week. We have displays up encouraging patients to learn the different reasons why each individual vegetable or fruit is good for you and what uses it has for your body. We hope to get children engaged in the conversation and have pictures up on reception showing fun ways to serve fruit and veggies!!

We have coloured our hair to help raise much needed fund for the Leukaemia foundation. A Shoalwater colleague committed to shaving her head for the worlds greatest shave! We will her all the best and admire the amount she has raised so far.

Did you know that we now do Occupational Health?
